Junior teams in the Summer Domestic Competition are coordinated by our wonderful domestic clubs. Please see the Domestic Clubs Section for more Information.

Senior Teams in the Summer Domestic Competition are coordinated by Individuals. Register your Senior Summer team via the ink when these are released.

How do I play in the 24/25 Junior Summer Domestic Competition?

Step 1 - Find out which age group you fall into and whether you are considered a restricted player. Information regarding restricted players is located in MBA's Domestic Manual. 

Step 2 - If you are currently playing in a team, see if your team is keen to re-register for the new season.

Step 3 - Speak to your club or contact a club if you are new to find out how to register with them.

Clubs coordinate teams and waitlists for the Summer competition. They are you first point of contact to get into a team.

If you do not have a team, please head to our "Looking to join a team' section to register your interest.

Junior Registrations

Senior Registrations

Please follow the below link to register a Senior Mixed, Men's or Women's team for the Summer Season: https://www.playhq.com/basketball-wa/register/5f02c0

Senior Mixed play Monday nights, Senior Men and Women play Thursday nights.

All teams are registered through PlayHQ.

Fees for Summer 2024/2025 season are as follows:

Basketball Western Australia Membership Fee - $41.75 Annual Fee

Team Registration Fee (All Ages) - $ 80.00

Juniors (U8s – U18s) - $ 255.00

Senior (Mixed | Men’s | Women’s) - $ 300.00

Single Game Voucher (Max 3 Games) - $ 20.00

FIFO Game Voucher (Proof of employment required) - $ 20.00 per game

After application, to redeem your Kidsport voucher, you will need:

• Your Kidsport Confirmation Number (Kidsport Voucher Code)
• The player registration link to your team.

Step 1 - Complete PlayHQ registration through the provided link

Step 2 - When you get to the payment section within PlayHQ, select GOVERNMENT VOUCHER. Here you will add your Kidsport Voucher code Once entered ensure you select the APPLY button. 

NB: If your Kidsport voucher does not cover the full amount of the season fees you, will be required to pay the outstanding balance by other means. 

We offer Afterpay from the MBA office during business hours. Please come and see us prior to registering to utilise Afterpay.

PlayHQ also offers Paypal pay in 4.
