Step 1 - Find out which age group you fall into and whether you are considered a restricted player. Information regarding restricted players is located in MBA's Domestic Manual. 

Step 2 - If you are currently playing in a team and are keen to re-register for the new season, see who is interested in volunteering as the Team Coordinator. Once you have put together a team, proceed with registering your team directly with Comet Bay Basketball Club or MBA.

If you do not have a team, please head to our "Looking to join a team' section to register your interest.

All teams are registered through Comet Bay Basketball Club (enquiries@cbb.asn.au) or if not affiliated with Comet Bay directly through Mandurah Basketball Association in PlayHQ.

Team nominations for the Winter 2025 Season have closed.

Teams MUST have a minimum of seven (7) registered participants by the 7th April, 2025

Fees for 2025 Winter Season are:

Basketball Western Australia Membership Fee - $43.84 (Annual Fee)

Basketball Australia Development Levy - $5.61 (Annual Fee)

Team Registration Fee (All Ages) - $ 80.00

Juniors (U8s – U18s) - $ 255.00

Senior (Mixed | Men’s | Women’s) - $ 295.00

Single Game Voucher (Max 3 Games) - $ 20.00

FIFO Game Voucher (Proof of employment required) - $ 20.00 per game

We encourage teams to source their own uniforms or contact a club to utilise a set. If for any reason you cannot source uniform, contact the MBA office and we can arrange to lend a team set for the season.

All custom uniforms must be approved by MBA prior to the first round.

Comet Bay Basketball Club teams must wear the approved Comet Bay Basketball uniform

After application, to redeem your Kidsport voucher, you will need:

• Your Kidsport Confirmation Number (Kidsport Voucher Code)
• The player registration link to your team.

Step 1 - Complete PlayHQ registration through the provided link

Step 2 - When you get to the payment section within PlayHQ, select GOVERNMENT VOUCHER. Here you will add your Kidsport Voucher code Once entered ensure you select the APPLY button. 

NB: If your Kidsport voucher does not cover the full amount of the season fees you, will be required to pay the outstanding balance by other means. 

PlayHQ now offers multiple payment options at checkout including Paypal Pay-in-4.

MBA offer Afterpay from the office during business hours. Please come and see us prior to registering to utilise Afterpay.
